Dr Angelo Sklavos
After graduating from Sydney University in 1988, Dr Angelo Sklavos then went on to own and operate 3 dental surgeries throughout Newcastle.
Dr Angelo Sklavos has been practising in Newcastle for more than 20 years and now runs Newcastle Family Dental Practice located in Mayfield and Belmont. Dr Anglo Sklavos focuses on cosmetic dentistry, ceramic dentistry and bridgework.
Dr Damon McCabe
Dr Damon McCabe graduated from Sydney University in 1977 and then went on to practice in the UK. After his overseas stint he then returned to Australia and practiced in Sydney and the Central Coast before settling in Newcastle. He has been practicing in Newcastle for over 20 years.
Dr Damon McCabe has been working in Mayfield for the past 17 years, and he concentrates on endodontics and dental implants.
Dr Lily Huang
Dr Lily Huang graduated in 2004 from Sydney University with honours in Bachelor of Dental Surgery. After graduation she moved to Newcastle and commenced work in Newcastle CBD.
Now one of the Newcastle Family Dental Practice Team, Dr Lily Huang’s areas of interest include periodontal, restorative and preventive dentistry and dental implants.
In 2006 Dr Huang completed the primaries for her FRACDS and in 2007 completed the Implant Course run by the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry.
Lily enjoys playing the violin and piano, and has attained diplomas in both instruments as well as composing music.
Dr Tara Wallace-Hor
Dr Tara Wallace-Hor graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dentistry. Tara has worked in both public and private dental health, in Sydney as well as in some regional areas of New South Wales, including Bathurst and Cessnock. She has also had the very rewarding and challenging experience of doing volunteer dental work for school children in Kampot, Cambodia.Tara regularly attends continuing professional development courses, mostly in restorative dentistry. Tara enjoys traveling, cooking and taking her dog for walks.
Amanda Folpp- Hygienist
After 8 years dental assisting, Amanda went on to sutydy a Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Newcastle. Amanda has worked in both public and private practices in Sydney before coming to work in Belmont in December 2010. Amanda enjoys all aspects of dental hygiene, particulary periodontics.
Jodie Horton- Hygienist
Jodie has had 20 years experince and knowledge in the dental industry. After graduating form torrens Valley Institute of Adelaid in 2002 with a diploma of dental hygiene she returned to Melbourne to work as a hygienists at both an orthodontic and cosmetic dental practice. Jodie recently relocated permanetnly to the Newcastle area and is happy to be a part of such a great team where she can continue to grow through continuing education.
